Momma and Munchkin Underwater Session | San Diego Underwater Photographer

Another underwater adventure but this time it was with a Mom and her munchkins. It was extremely fun taking pictures of these three. Mom was comfortable in the water and these two water babies had a blast. Little K was dressed like a princess and acted like one too. She was adorable and her photos show. Baby T was also a ham for the camera. Her little toes and chubby legs photo is scrumptious... And I’m impressed she went underwater with such ease. Thank you M Family for working with me to make this happen. You guys were great subjects and I had a blast doing this with you!!

I'm hoping to do more underwater photoshoot sessions in the future for Mom's and their tykes. Stay tuned. =)

{Week 16} Project 25 | San Diego Underwater Photographer

WOW WOW and WOW...... taking underwater photos was SO MUCH FUN!!!!! I used a camera and water housing to get these amazing photos of my family for a coffee table book I'm going to print through blurb.com, titled "H2O Unplugged." This water adventure sure has opened my eyes to all the possibilities photography has. I’ll never get bored shooting photos!

The hubby and I! =)

Thank you to one of my besties, Kristin McGuire, for helping me achieve my vision!!! You did a great job taking the images that I'm in!! Thanks for letting us use your pool and for helping with the shots. You're a good friend and budding artist!! I love being creative with you and feeding off each other!

{Week 15} Project 52 | Carlsbad Children Photographer

This week I snapped some Environmental Portraits of my son. He LOVES to skateboard so I thought his board would be the perfect way to capture him with something he enjoys doing. There’s actually a funny story behind the skateboard.
I took my son to the skate park one day. When I got home and told my hubby about it, he said that was something he would've liked to do with him. The following weekend, he decides he wants to take our son to the skate park. Well, it turns out he took him to the skateboard shop first and let him pick out a new helmet and a custom board with all of his own stickers that he also picked out. Of course my husband had to one-up me…. Hahaha. What can you do??? I took the photos at the Old Train Station in Downtown Carlsbad. I love that new location I’ve been shooting at. Fun fun fun. Let me know if you’re interested in getting some station shots too!!

I can see this field from my livingroom. Every week more and more flowers grow. I can't believe how beautiful it is right now with all the Spring flowers blooming around me. I couldn't resist taking pictures of my kids amongst the beautiful wildflowers!!
