Another beautiful family... I was so happy when the S Family wanted to shoot their holiday photos at Jack's Pond. What a treat. I love that location and this family fit perfect there. They were dressed perfect, fun to work with and did everything I asked. Thanks for a great photo session!

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the B Family for the holidays again this year. These sisters are adorable and when they want, they can ham it up for the camera. I loved how the whole family got dressed up for the photo session!!! The tuxedo made it... classy!!!

{Week 5} Project 52 | San Diego Children Photographer

I spotted some yellow flowers in the field behind my house so the kids and I went for a hike to explore. We brought some Valentine heart candy and my son brought an umbrella. =) I love watching the kids... they don't want to do anything that I tell them to do (except when I have candy). I love their independence and their love for adventure. This is a little Glimpse from my 52 Week Project with Chic Critique Forum.

{Week 4} Project 52 | San Diego Children Photographer

This week we took advantage of the warm weather in January and enjoyed our beautiful Carlsbad State Beach. What a joy it is to live in a place like this. I got some fun photos of big brother and his little shadow.... she's always close by and observing everything her brother does. I love watching them!

Winter Mini Photoshoot | Solana Beach Children Photographer

These two sisters are so cute and behaved. They were good and absolutely adorable for their photoshoot. I got some precious photos of them at San Dieguito Park in Solana Beach, California. The nature tones and denim skirt worked perfect for this location. The stroller shot is one of my favorites!!!

{Week 3} Project 52 | San Diego Children Photographer

This is a picture of my daughter riding her plasma car at the park. The whole time we were there, all she wanted to do was ride her plasma and scooter, like the big kids. Usually she’s running around the park and laughing, but this time she was so serious. I love to get different perspectives while I photograph. For this shot (above) I was laying down on the ground. I’m sure I looked like quite a sight, hahha. But hey, I got the picture!!!! I absolutely love the composition of the photograph. I’m sure glad I remembered to grab the camera! My new goal is to get fun photos like this every week.

I joined Project 52 - Glimpses, with the Chic Critique Forum, where I post a picture on my blog every week of a glimpse into my life. I thought this would be a fun challenge and inspirational to work with other photographers!!
This project is made for me. I take my camera (almost) everywhere I go. Even when I went on a bike ride with some girlfriends, I had my camera on my back. I just can’t resist. And I get jittery when I haven't taken photos for awhile. Photography is therapeutic for me and serves as a creative outlet! I spend a lot of time taking pictures & editing for work and sometimes my personal photos get neglected. It will be nice to focus my camera on my family for a change and try to get some fun candid images of our life in progress. Please come back often and share my view!!

I meet these cute sisters in Solana Beach at San Dieguito Park for a Holiday Mini Photoshoot Session. Girls Girls Girls... you gotta love the girls!! I had fun following these girls around and taking their photos. They are absolutely adorable and watching them makes me want another girl. =)

San Elijo Hills Fountain | North County Family Phtographer

I meet the H Family in downtown San Elijo Hills at the fountain. This was a fun location that I had never shot at before. We also walked around a little and looked for a fun doorway to shoot in. I love the red door and brick wall shots on the stairs!!! I even got one of my famous street sign (I love signs) photos. We wanted to get a Beatles album photo of the family crossing the street, but there were too many cars, LOL. I had a great time photographing this beautiful family. This is my sunshine family. I swear, it appears to me that sun is always shining on this fun and outgoing family. This bunch has become one of my biggest supporters during the holidays. They show up dressed fashionably, matchy matchy and ready for anything. When the family is into it, SO AM I. The L Family wanted to do a special shoot this year since they were graduating Fullerton University. When they asked me to do this challenge, I of course signed right up. I drove all the way to Fullerton to take these awesome pictures of this awesome family!
